Please wear something comfortable. You may need to move around within your level of comfort, so something loose fitting is best.
It is often easier for me to be able to see the affected area as well, so ideally wear or bring a pair of shorts for back, hip, knee, ankle and leg problems. Likewise, wear or bring a vest top for neck, shoulder, arm and back problems.
Of course - you are welcome to bring someone with you, who can remain throughout the appointment or whichever parts you want them there for. There is a waiting area for them.
If you have any clinic or referral letters, or scan results from your doctors, please bring them along. Also, if you have copies of any scans or x-rays, again it is very useful if you can bring them with you for me to take a look at.

No - you can refer yourself if you are paying for the consultation yourself.
Some insurance companies do however require a referral from a doctor, so it is always advisable to check with your insurance company before you book your appointment.
No two people or problems are the same. Once the assessment has been completed, we will discuss the issue and give you a good guide as to the likely number of treatment sessions required. They are of course completely at your discretion and you can come as often or little as you wish.

Absolutely. Anything we discuss is kept strictly confidential. It may be best to pass certain information on to your doctor or other healthcare professionals, but I will only do that with your express permission before doing so.

I am also registered with most (if not all) insurance companies. If you have medical insurance, please check with your insurer how your bills are settled. Some insurers will pay directly, whilst others require you to pay yourself and claim the money back from them.
Of course - please let me know at the end of your appointment and one can be emailed or printed for you.
